Serious Art Form

December 7th, 2007 by Conor Lastowka · 3 Comments

I had a dream the other night about Calvin and Hobbes, and then Bill Watterson was brought up at work today, so I figured that was as good an excuse as any to post this picture that has been sitting on my desktop for a few months, waiting for me to do something with it. I feel like it would make a good t-shirt. If only Bill Watterson would license merchandise other than those stupid Calvin Peeing decals!

He actually doesnt license those. Some assholes use it and he doesn’t get any money for them

How dare you, Kristina. You beat me to it.

My high school quote was from Calvin & Hobbes (they misprinted it, though): “Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.”

The misprint? They wrote “sunset” instead of “surest.”
