If you like oatmeal, this REALLY is some of the best, 100 times better than Quaker's instant mush. I'm not sure what makes this so gosh darn hi-larious. It's $7 a can at our local health food store. I'm trying to lower cholesterol this year and eat healthier, so thanks for the great tip. I'm heading over to buy some from amazon now.

Ah! You laugh, but steel cut oatmeal is delicious. It retains the nutty flavor and chewy texture that are crushed out of its bland, gooey, "instant" relatives when they're steamed and flattened in order to make them cook more quickly.

I'm heading to Amazon to place my order right now. This is awesome!

I just really, really like oatmeal, is all.

Great, now I'm having flashbacks of stocking those darn cans of oatmeal at Central Market. Thanks, Conor.

Dang....if I didn't live so close to a place where I can buy steel cut oats in bulk, and I do live very close, I would so take advantage of this outstanding bargain! Wow!

Oatmeal -- now in cans!

Just imagion all the other ways they haven't been selling oatmeal to us. I vote for "Go-gurt" syle tubes as the next evolutionary step.

I'm just concerned as to why oatmeal needs to be "steel cut."

With that many pounds of oatmeal on hand, I think my first instinct would be to prepare the bathtub. I hear hot oatmeal baths are all the rage lately in them San Francisco health spas.

When I die, I want my coffin packed with oatmeal, much like my stomach was packed with oatmeal in real life. Cinnamon and sugar flavor, please.
