I don’t think it’s a good idea to judge Slade’s motive on this, as they have been rocking consistently for forty years, and one might guess that a good breakfast is partly responsible. It might also be that eggs and bangers really sop up the gin. Whatever the motive, we all benefit from Slade’s advice.

That looks like a perfectly balanced breakfast. Apart from the strawberries. And whatever the hell that green stuff is.
Also, I see no bangers on that plate. Maybe they’re hiding under all the other meatstuffs.

By breakfast they mean lunch. These guys rock too hard to be up in time for a real breakfast. I think they’re advice has a lot of envy behind it.

I think the “green stuff” is Kale, which is used primarily as a garnish and therefore not among the more common breakfast selections in the colonies.
In the UK however it is considered to be the secret to immortality when combined with gin, glam rock, general lack of sleep, and a high cholesterol, high calorie, low carbohydrate breakfast such as this.
I’m pretty sure David Bowie swears by it.
