Nine Baconators

The website for Wendy’s has a handy Nutrition Calculator to allow you to find out exactly what you are eating. I wanted to check what your average Fifteen Baconator lunch would run you, nutrition-wise, but was dismayed to see that they limit you at adding a mere NINE Baconators!

You can click on the below thumbnail for the full “nutritional” content of the nine Baconator meal, (aka”The Number ‘I give up’” on the Value Menu), but some of the highlights are 7500 calories, 461 grams of fat and an impressive 140% of your Vitamin A. The multi-vitamin industry is quaking…

I think that once you have added nine Baconators to your Wendy’s meal plan, they should change the layout of the page and replace the “recalculate your meal ->” button with something a bit more appropriate.

I’m assuming nine Baconators equals a full pig and half a cow, which is exciting, because I’ve always wanted an entire pig and half a cow in my belly.

Now if I top that off with a couple of 65 oz. Frostys, I’ll have at least 50% of my daily Vitamin C requirement. Better get cracking! It’s flu season!

My heart hurts just looking at this.

And I’m also hungry. Thanks Conor!

You actually can get it to tally up 15 baconators. You just have to add the final 6 one at a time. The highlights are 12500 calories, 768 grams of fat and 230% of your Vitamin A. Yes, I’m evaluating my life as we speak. :)

If you add just 5 large orders of fries to 15 Baconators you can make up that vitamin C deficiency no problem!

    NINE Baconators.

    NINE Supreme Court Justices.

    Coincidence?

My favorite is the 1/2-pound jalapeno melt that they sometimes have. But nine baconators will do in a pinch ;)

I have had a 2 baconator meal. No fries, just two baconators and a drink (ironically/sadly enough, a diet Coke).

The baconator is delicious. But please, learn from my example, kids: Never have more than one at a time. In fact, never have more than one within 48 hours of each other if you can help it. And you can help it.

If you use the Web Developer extension in Firefox, you can disable the maximum field length. Want 56 Baconators? That’ll be 46,660 calories.

131 Mandarin Chicken salads will run you 68,560 calories.

    Enjoy!

Not to nit pick but shouldn’t that be re-evaluate? Anywho how many ppl actually eat at Wendy’s anymore? I haven’t even eaten at McDonald’s in so long that every time we pass one I ask ” hay when did we get one of those”?

  • 10 Doug on Feb 6, 2008 at 4:42 pm

Hey, I like Wendy’s. Their hamburgers are marginally better than mcDonald’s and thanks to the value menu I can get a meal for under $3.

Definitely prefer Wendy’s over McDonalds. Though if I don’t have to watch the wallet and I’m going to get a fast food burger, I’d opt for a Carl’s Jr jalapeno burger. I just ate dinner and the thought’s still making my mouth water . . .

I had a baconator once, when they first came out. What wonderful and terrible dreams I had while in that week-long meat-coma.

And NINE plans before intergalactic space conquest was perfected! (wait…did they actually succeed? the movie is unclear on this point) But still!

Perhaps a new Wendy’s/Rifftrax marketing promotion:

“Whether you’re watching Rifftrax or deciding how many Baconators to order: Plan Nine!”

Holy! Salad suddenly doesn’t sound to appetizing.

I see that there is an option to “personalize” your Baconator. When giving a Baconator to a loved one supreme importance rests in making sure that it sends the right message.

Could you imagine your embarrassment if you gave the Baconator intended for your wife to your mistress and vice versa? Heavens!

  • 19 Eileen on Feb 11, 2008 at 4:05 pm

    But Baconators ARE delicious.

  • 20 angel chii on Mar 4, 2008 at 8:17 pm

oh yes. i whole heartedly agree. wendys chicken nuggets ROCK! burgers yes! more for your value. @ 4 bucks minimum for a meal deal you aint getting to much. if you open up REAAAAL wide then you get the burger down in like 3 bites and the fries in maybe 5. and the drink in like 10 (gulps)

so yeah. but it is an international chain. so go figures.
