Free Riffs!

February 27th, 2008 by Mike Nelson · 131 Comments

Politics can get so heated, so passionate that every so often you have to just stop, take a deep breath and feel the calming influence of the boll weevils.

Alternatively, you can enjoy RiffTrax take on politics. We carefully and painstakingly scrape the politics off our politics and leave only the funny. Enjoy, and check out round 2 of the political ad riffs right here.

    Brilliant, but I’m easily amused.

I’d love to see a Rifftrax of one of the debates…

I notice that no candidate has to courage to address any of the boll-weevil related topics, especially the Fire-ants wanton genocide of their species! Also none of the candidates brings up anything bacon related! Although Huckabees free pen platform is nice as i never seem to have a pen when i need one. But McCain has my vote because of the size of his face, I feel it represents me better.

The Obama one was a rollercoaster ride. First I was confused, then I was disappointed, then I had a moment of revelation, then there was groaning followed by laughter.

Quite similar to the responses of every woman I’ve ever loved, actually.

Hey, what clown edited the last clip?! There’s like 15 seconds of dead air at the end! It’s like watching that part of Pitch Black where it was really, REALLY dark and nothing happened, also know as the running time of the movie. Seriously, I kid Pitch Black. Now I see why I’m having such trouble deciding who to vote for. I mean now that I’m an adult I actually like for people to tell me what they’re going to get me for Christmas so I can practice my grateful face when I open a lame gift so Hillary’s camp makes a strong case. But just today I had an overly crumpled dollar bill and I was unable to purchase back of pulverized, 12 year-old pretzels in the machine so Obama has my eye too. Then you add in Romney’s free pen campaign and… golly I just don’t know where to turn!
