The current crop of political ads proved too riffable to be contained by just one blog post, so we decided to do more. I can only imagine that as the ads heat up and get more vicious, the potential for hilarity will skyrocket. For now, if you missed part one, check them out here.

In his capacity as an average Hat-Wearing American, or — ?

Kevin, watch out or McCain will give you one o’ them big, awkward man-hugs like he gave Dubya in that famous picture.
Nobody wants that.

Hillary’s mad scientism ad wins hands down. That voice was scary on.

It’s great to hear more riffers get in on these things.
But now my political stance is all wishy-washy. I definitely want a Department of Mad Scientistism, but… I don’t want Hilary ruining my Christmases. And Barack’s offer of spare change is negated by his bad jokes. And who could deny a president with his own theme song?
Oh, I’ll just write in Mickey Mouse or something come election day. That’ll save us all the trauma.

I second that. “why aren’t you in school?”

If I could vote, I would totally throw it away on McClinton O’Bama.

Not only are his jokes bad, but under his totalitarian regime we’ll be forced to laugh at them. It’s a bold admittance if nothing else.

Wow!! Alright!! Just when I was getting sick of hearing about the election coverage, Rifftrax has actually made me want to get involved! Who knew that Hillary was for a department of mad scientism? I’VE BEEN FOR THIS FOR YEARS!! At least now I know my voice will be heard!
Thank you, Rifftrax
PS: Kevin Murphy or Elton John? Only a true audio freak can find out!! You Da Man, Kevin!!

Indeed. Well, perhaps not average. And in part, he was there to talk about Hollywood celebrity endorsements and whether they have the intended effect or create a backlash in some cases.
