…asked me to wish you “good morning.”

He also wants you to know he’s feeling great, despite a rough night.

“Live each day as a gift from Heaven,” concluded Nick, in his message to you.

Step forth into your week knowing that somewhere, out there, Nick Nolte wishes you well. (And no, it’s not just because he wants you to drive him to Liquor Mart tonight, though that would be nice…)

Apparently someone did NOT heed the TSA warning to not leave their aging leathery has-beens unattended.

I must defend Aging Leathery Has-Beens here, a little. As an Aging Leathery Never-Was (a very related cohort — our offices are in the same suite, in fact), I can tell you that after having a dozen or so too many, just plonking down wherever you are for 20 hours sleep can be very restorative. In fact, it’s SOP for ALHSes and ALNWes.

    Good morning, Nick Nolte!

    …Yes, “morning.”

…Pardon? Oh, Monday, Mr. Nolte. It’s Monday morning.

    …Er.. Monday the 12th, Nick.

…The 12th of May, Nick. Can I call you Nick?

    …2008, Mr. Nolte.

I’ll tell you one thing… I’m taking Rifftrax’s advice in that I will approach Nick Nolte only with an assault rifle!

No amount of booze could’ve made the Hulk seem like a good idea.

I often dream of a collaboration remake of “Man in the Mirror” performed by Nolte and Gary Busey. This is why I generally fear my dreams and never sleep.

And to think, this is the same man who played Jerry Baskin. How the mighty have fallen.

Thank you Bill. With all the problems in my life lately I can take solace knowing the fact that it could be worse, I could be Nick Nolte.

Nick Nolte does his world famous alternate universe Mr. Gower impression to the delight and horror of stunned onlookers.

I have always had a deep seated fear of Nick Nolte, and frankly I never knew why.
