Yes, aside from Santa Claus and that guy from Blue’s Clues who people said was dead but turned out not to be, there is no more beloved icon amongst our children than actor Dennis Franz. Here he shows up on Sesame Street to jump on the alphabet reciting bandwagon. Of little help is his “Alphabet Partner” Telly Monster, who interrupts and stammers, no doubt overcome with the sheer wattage of Franz’s aura. Of even less help is Grover, who contemplates suicide throughout the duration of the video. Very weird stuff.

Who doesn’t love TV’s detective Sipowicz? He’s right up there with TV’s Anthony ‘Tony’ J. Scali, the Commish.
I’m still waiting for Franz to do a Chiklis-esque tough guy tranformation. Is that too much to ask for?

Conor spends his days wiling away in front of YouTube, finding old Sesame Street clips of beautiful inanity when he really should be delivering on another kind of beauiful inanity that I’ve been demanding in every blog comment I’ve been posting as of late.
