In honor of our upcoming Riff of The Sixth Sense, I made this video
This of course is the scene where the man discovers that his wife has poisoned their daughter to death. His reaction was so priceless, I wondered what else could be substituted on his TV. There was only one thing, as far as I was concerned….

Conor, listen really hard. Can you hear me clapping all the way in Chicago? Well then you’re not trying hard enough because I am. Well done!

Yeah, that’s the appropriate reaction to that trailer, alright.

This is precisely how I reacted the first time you people thrust that damn trailer upon me. Excellent video, hope it spawns a series of obscure YouTube meme remixes.

Or there’s pretty much anything on video from Paris Hilton. Bonus points if it’s her night vision goggle porn.

I guess something like “I see dead puppies” isn’t going to catch on as a tagline, but that’s a damn funny video anyway!

Very well done.
(The trailer for the new Indiana Jones movie is different than I remember.)

That was remarkably similar to my own reaction upon seeing that same trailer in theaters. I just kept looking over at my boyfriend, mouth agape, eyes bugging, unsure if he was seeing the same thing I was.

Without looking at who authored this post, I’d initially presumed that this was the work of Mr. Bill Corbett. I’m uncertain as to whether or not that’s a compliment, so take that as you will.

If that’s not an education in creative editing, I don’t know what is. That was also my reaction upon seeing that trailer (here). The horror.

I actually found myself laughing at singing and dancing dogs. I don’t think I’ve done that since I was four. Thank you for bringing child-like wonder back into my life. I am complete now.
Or maybe it was just something funny and I liked it. That’s it, really.

Wow. Is it too early to do a Riff on that movie? I know it’s not even out yet, but there are some riffs that just kind of write themselves. Plus, the Rifftrax poster would be great. Just imagine Bill’s head on that tiny lil’ dog’s body! And Kevin as, I dunno, the Incan Sun God or something. Mike could be the fire hydrant.

I don’t know which is worse, that someone initially had this idea or that many, many other people willingly signed on to be a part of it.
Sixth Sense dad’s reaction is perfect though. Just the right amount of shock and disbelief that this horror has come into his life. The trailer for that Adam Sandler movie Zamfir: Israeli PanFlutist of Death or whatever it’s called would’ve worked equally well.

Oh, the fear in his eyes. Disney producers thrive off that fear. They would be sunken-eyed zombies without the life-giving fear from stunned parents and mindless children.

I showed this to someone at work… I knew it was a bad idea when the trailer first began and she said “Ooooh! I want to see this movie…”
I couldn’t say a word… The world is doomed… Duct Tape And Garbage Bags… Baked Beans… Shhh… Don’t let them know you know….

This is what I posted on YouTube about a week ago…
“The only thing that would make this even better is if Mike, Kevin, and Bill riff this little deformed cinematic turd when it comes out on DVD. That and they shoot footage of all those responsible at Disney hogtied in the studio when they tear it to bloody sheds for all to see…”
…and I STILL stand by it…
