Interview with me

Quick P.S., then I’ll let you enjoy your holiday in peace… I did an interview with the Jawbone Radio podcast a few days ago, and they released it today. Linkosity:

Now go eat hot dogs and listen to John Phillip Sousa. (Right now, mister!)

I just can’t believe they didn’t bring up The Canada Song with all the talk of MST3k songs and The Final Sacrifice. Especially considering it’s one of the ones you wrote!

Terrible oversight, Jawbone! In fact, I’ll be boycotting any future interviews by them! Though.. I don’t know how I’ll ever do without the best podcast in the Cleveland area…. Oh god, I just can’t quit them. I’m sorry, Bill. :P

    Seriously though, wonderful interview. :)

Try not to blow off too many of your fingers lighting fireworks, won’t you?

    Happy 4th, everybody.

great interview. Mr. Corbett, you are what my late father would call, in his 1930s/40’s slang, ‘a regular guy.’ which is high praise, indeed.
I have the feeling that the popularity of, and the demand for, the entity of the riffed film ouvre et al with all of its constituents will continue to build, to the extent that someday, in the not too distant future, you all will be sitting on a panel in an enormous ampitheater before laughing thousands, a la a Star Trek convention.
people are starved for quality and choked by quantity. there’s nothing like good art.
    just a premonition.

Just do not eat hot dogs like those contestants on the National hot dog eating championship. Trust me, you will vomit for sure.

This isn’t really related to anything (except perhaps good ol’ fashioned AMERICA), but today I was in a small chocolate store in Cleveland and one of the fancy designer chocolates had bacon in it.

I thought of you, Mr. Corbett.

    Ahem.

As Mr. Corbett has already made quite clear elsewhere on this blog, bacon is related to EVERYTHING.

    Especially John Phillip Sousa.

Here’s a really nifty recipe for bacon candy. Now you too can have all the joy of bacon for dessert!
