Consider:
N.B.: The Slimsticks are free. What with the high price of Slimsticks these days, I’d advise anyone to seize this opportunity.
(Best image available. And LORD KNOWS I’ve looked. Anyone want to try deciphering the Snare-ian text?)
[IMPORTANT UPDATE! The YouLookNiceToday people (thanks, by the way) have a bigger image. Though you can never make a big enough Snarezzercise image for me.
Thanks to Bob in comments below for that. You username may be generic, Bob, but your heart is stout.]

What an interesting word!
“Snarezzercise” is obviously a portmanteau of “snare” and “jazzercise”, which is itself a portmanteau of “jazz” and “regicide”.

and here I thought the reason drummers were skinny because of the all night heroin and alcohol binges…

I read that as “heroin and alcohol burgers.” That sounds delicious.

Bill,
The gang over at You Look Nice Today beat you to this amazing cardiovascular opportunity:

Great minds…

I think those guys might have been the ones who unearthed it originally, not sure. From where, I can’t begin to tell you — some 80s fever dream, perhaps.
Reply from Robert on July 20, 2008:
Yes, this was the brainchild of the folks at _You Look Nice Today_, when they were looking for licensing opportunities. Their other endeavors, such as tight-fitting overalls, a year-round Christmas tree store, and a restaurant named “Baby on a Dog” have garnered critical acclaim.
YLNT, incidentally, is the most hilarious podcast ever made, ever. (Present company excepted, of course.)
Reply from Bob on July 20, 2008:
Nice to see a fellow YLNT listener. It fits into my humor cosmology with Rifftrax, MST3K, Cinematic Titanic et al so perfectly it makes me weep. Now there’s a couple guys who might enjoy some time in the Riff booth with the Rifftrax legends… Merlin Mann would seem a near perfect guest riffer.
Reply from andrew on July 21, 2008:
It’s like all my favorite comedy streams are crossing - Rifftrax, JoCo, You Look Nice Today.
We are quickly approaching the geeky/funny singularity.

Well, Bill, as a self-proclaimed fitness celebrity, I heartily endorse David Carradine’s Ultimate Qigong Tai Chi Hose, the true secret to losing pounds off of one’s dignity.

I prefer Cowbellstenics, or Snareobics.

Can’t argue with that!

Bill, is it true Brain Guy is getting his own sictom, about him working as the store manager at the local plus size retail and that one of the episodes is about his oldest son working on the Snare?

Don’t laugh. These people went on to invent Guitar Hero.

I’m still waiting for Weird Al to come out with Polkacize. You start with the accordian, and work your way up to the tuba.

It really, really works! My boyfriend is a drummer, and he has beautiful forearms and wrists to be envied

Never before have I considered whether my wrists are enviable. Damn!! Yet another thing to be concerned about. Thank goodness for the free slimsticks.
