A future HITLER!

November 12th, 2008 by Bill Corbett · 36 Comments

Yes, I’m making a beeline for Godwin’s Law. But sometimes it just fits,* like with the wee Hitler-in-training, below.

This toddler’s ability to control a crowd is chilling:

“How big is Will?”

Bigger than HISTORY, Mom!

+++++

(*Those who disagree with me — about this, or anything — are obviously Nazis themselves.)

Wow — that’s a triumph of the Will.

  • 2 Ninjew on Nov 12, 2008 at 7:01 am

    Where there’s a Will, there’s a way.

  • 3 Ninjew on Nov 12, 2008 at 7:02 am

    Thy Will be done.

  • 4 Tv Miller on Nov 12, 2008 at 7:07 am

And my parents only got me a slinky. I feel small.

    (applauds)

I doff my chapeau at you.

Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic and Slovakia, if you prefer) will soon learn how big Will is.

  • 7 Smuttynose on Nov 12, 2008 at 7:53 am

    Somehow more Mussolini-esque to me.

  • 8 blablover5 on Nov 12, 2008 at 8:07 am

Soon he’s going to annex his neighbors sandbox and attack the parks swingset.

Now wait a minute. This is from the Phillies World Series parade. This town has waited FOR-EVER to cheer for a winner, and it finally has happened.

So instead of knee-jerkingly booing anything that comes along (Drunken Santa, Jimmy Johnson’s hair) we’ll now cheer a squirrel if it makes it across the road before getting squashed, or a child simply raising his arms.

Ooh, another leaf fell off that oak tree! YAYYYYYY!!!!!

    That. Was. Awesome.

    Gallagher’s Sledge-O-Matic! Yay!!!!

  • 12 Bill Corbett on Nov 12, 2008 at 9:00 am

So you admit you’re a Nazi?

(And congrats to the Phillies, our World F***ing Champions.)

  • 13 NanoRiffite on Nov 12, 2008 at 9:15 am

Great. Now he’ll go into kindergarden and expect everyone to cheer like that. Sure, he can get a line of adults to cheer, but the other kids will just beat him up.

  • 14 NanoRiffite on Nov 12, 2008 at 9:23 am

Didn’t Elvis Costello predict this? “Two little hitlers will fight it out, until one little hitler does the other one’s will.”

and: “I need my head examined, I need eyes excited. I’d like to join the party, but I was not invited.”

    Seig Phillies! Yay!

(Yes, Chase Utley got caught up in the moment there…)

  • 18 Ninjew on Nov 12, 2008 at 10:16 am

Will is simply using an old Jedi mind trick.

Geez, Bill. You declare people Nazis with such conviction, it’s like you’re some kind of… Nazi.

The creatoes of Bacos have realized their mistake at long last, and are replacing their textured vegetable protein product with REAL BACON! YAYYYYYYY!

Someday, in therapy, this kid will recall the incident in which the world obeyed him without question.
One incident that sends him to a therapist: his date will wonder why he keeps raising his arms and making other- gestures; the grown-up Controlling Child Within becomes enraged when she/he doesn’t respond the way his repressed memory dictates she/he should.
    Poor kid.

?!! So…..correct me if I’m wrong……But you’re saying this is THE Adolph Hitler and he is somehow traveling through time?!? Then why is he a child in the future? Your whole conspiracy idea sounds implausible……..Is he traveling backwards in time? Still…….Thanks for uncovering this.

  • 26 michael on Nov 12, 2008 at 2:21 pm

to continue in the tradition of Bill’s anagram challenge:

how big is Will? = Sigh, I will bow…

  • 27 RemmieBarrow on Nov 12, 2008 at 2:38 pm

I think the real power behind Will is his mother, and I think she wants it that way…for now.

  • 28 Mr. Slick on Nov 12, 2008 at 5:45 pm

  • 30 mikeB on Nov 12, 2008 at 11:34 pm

You see, that’s what I though too.

  • 31 euphoriafish on Nov 13, 2008 at 2:39 am

Aww, we’re already comparing each other to Hitler? That just means that anyone who continues to argue can’t have anything intelligent to say anymore.

    Ignorance rules!

    YAAAY!!!

  • 32 Dan Coulter on Nov 13, 2008 at 9:39 am

    Bill,

The main problem with calling people nazis so early in the argument is that there’s no one more evil that we can move to. Except maybe Xenu.
