The Dark Knight audio exclusive!

December 8th, 2008 by Bill Corbett · 31 Comments

Exclusive to who or what, I don’t know! Just listen!!

*****

BONUS! Not-So-Dark Knights!!

ZebraBatman 1
Rainbow Batman2RainbowBatman1

An observation about the middle picture, above, quite aside from the whole color thing…

Look on the Batcave wall. Seems that B & R have either: (1) a live audio video feed of the sky over Gotham, in case the Bat-signal appears (lazy!), OR (2) a lovingly-framed portrait of their dear Bat-signal.

I demand more British Bill! An entire solo Rifftrax of British Bill, please. Perhaps the long awaited meta-riff of Meet Dave that regular Bill has been mulling over.

Long live Super Dickery. I wonder just how many times Super-man has killed Lois.

This will forever be my favorite

    What voice?

  • 4 Mitch on Dec 8, 2008 at 1:10 pm

Live audio feed? Since when can you see sounds? Clearly this is another example of RiffTrax being far more advanced than the rest of civilization.

Bill, you must not have cable? Because that’s the Bat-Signal channel (278..I think?)….I watch it occasionally…Shows the different Bat-signals i.e 50’s 60’s, etc…It’s a good channel, But infomercials take over during the day. :(

Ha Ha! Nice skit! :) Would love to hear more of these!

Hope Kevin’s voice is alright? Sounded harsh.

Of course they have a video feed of the Bat-signal in the Bat Cave. How else are they supposed to see the Bat-Signal? They are down in a CAVE!

Actually, Batman probably has a remote signaling device, like a pager, hot-wired to the Bat-signal. Then, whenever the Bat-Signal gets turned on, Batman gets a page! Pretty cool, eh?

If Superman could rig up some kind of Inter-dimensional retransmission device through the Phantom Zone, then Batman could get the signal even if he was in another Galaxy or another Dimension! Like it would do Gotham a lot of good then, but still, Batman would want to know. He’s got a Type A personality like that.

But maybe Batman could signal Nightwing or Robin or or Batgirl to answer the call. Yeah, there’s probably a whole pecking order of heroes waiting to step in and pick up on Batman’s slack.

Except in the new movies, there’s only Batman. So if he can’t answer the Bat-Signal, Gotham’s just shit out of luck!

“Clearly this is another example of RiffTrax being far more advanced than the rest of civilization.”

Just an example of me typing while very, very drunk.

    Corrected. [HIC!]

I never understood 1950’s Batman, to be honest. I mean, Batman is supposed to be a hard-nosed detective and vigilante, not some fashion fop, only worried that he might have worn the same uniform twice in a row!

Is it just me, or did Kevin start to sound like a cross between Grover and Cookie Monster before Mike took his mask off?

  • 11 jason on Dec 8, 2008 at 2:56 pm

Could be worse- have you seen any of those old Superman comics where he says “Papa spank!” while smacking someone around? (I’m not joking- they reprinted some in Wizard).

In the same vein, have you guys seen “Bratzman” yet? It is awesome.

Make sure you watch the whole thing:

Those batman pictures you posted Bill disturbed the part of my brain that admires bat-man…..

But I guess it explains the sliding down the bat-pole and Robin’s unusually short-shorts.

“You sound like your thought was repeatedly run-over by an escalade full of sumo-wrestlers!”

    LOL! XD

I take umbrage with Robin trying to sugarcoat the situation — that bat-suit is clearly PINK, not red!!!

  • 19 chrismartindeed on Dec 8, 2008 at 7:10 pm

At least Batman has a shred of masculine dignity with his attire.

Robin appears to be wearing green tap pants with plenty of decorative rouching.

    The Boy George Wonder?

Getting into character as you riff Arthur, I hope.

The zebra outfit could be an asset if Batman ever decides to clean up Sin City.

Even Frank Miller wouldn’t see him coming.

Well, I think that the Rainbow Batman suit is FABULOUS!

Am I the only one who thinks that Batman is not a super-hero, just a(n) hero?

  • 24 Toby Danger on Dec 9, 2008 at 11:03 am

I’ve actually read ‘The Rainbow Batman’ book. Want to know why Batman had to wear different coloured Batsuits?

So that all the villains would look at him and not at Robin, who had injured his foot while playing sports as Dick Grayson, thus eliminating the possibilty of any criminal who happened to see Dick hurt himself see Robin limping and put two and two together.

What were they putting in the water during the 50’s?

(What were they putting in the water during the 50’s?)

    …Drugs, of course.

The bright colors that he used probably suggests that it was LSD…

Wasn’t the whole premise of Zorro the Gay Blade different color outfits? Can’t believe Batman beat George Hamilton to it.

    Pink Batman? Rainbow Batman?

As if we really needed a reason to question Batman’s sexuality. :-/
