You are right. It HAD to be done. But you didn’t have to be the one to do it. You spent time on this didn’t you? Poor Mike.

I think this just took about five years off my life, I laughed so hard. Thanks, Mike.

That little dance near the end was a tad bit creepy.

Nelson, you magnificent bastard.

I now feel obligated to share my own masterpiece:
on Apr 7, 2009 at 8:28 pm
Wow. This is like if David Lynch directed a remake of Road House for Pixar.
on Apr 7, 2009 at 10:27 pm
Ok, Nelson, I said it once but it demands repeating:
STOP SCREWING AROUND AND GET WITH THE TWILIGHT RIFFING!!!

Ok, I could get behind obscure Michael Moore references in “Time Chasers” that were made before Micahael Moore was popular. And I was with you all the way as you made Pat Riley hair comments or described the evolution of mens leg wear or parodied Prince and Tom Clancy in a hilarious novel. And I still laugh at the thought of you and bots dressed up as Fabio. And that song you did about Canada, my beloved home country, was touching, really.
But what in sam baked alaskan hell is going here!?!?!

Well I hope you’re happy. Thanks to you I now have ANOTHER new way of wasting my life on the internet, making things purely for my own amusement.
This is just another step on the road to me taping myself to the chair, converting it into a toilet and blacking out the windows. Is that what you want!? Cos that’s what’s going to happen.

I’ve been trying to get to this xtranormal site for a full day but it keeps saying “SQL error”
Terrible. I want to make strange cartoons.

[shuffles nervously] Heh… I was trying for an NEA grant…? [straightening up, trying the direct approach] No, seriously, just paying loving homage to the greatest movie ever made, Road House. [losing confidence, feeling in pockets for keys] Gotta go.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 8:24 am
that was one of the funniest things you have ever posted to this blog.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 8:42 am
So is this the new Rifftrax Blog obsession? So far I’m not too impressed. Now when somebody does this for Mike and the bots singing Toobular Boobular Joy, then I’ll be interested.

Mike, I’m going to cry.
Scratch that, I’m crying.

Well times are tough I suppose, no shame in taking a little grant money. If we needed a federal bail-out for Riff Trax I’d vote for it!
Thanks for the reply. I love the fact that we can interact with you guys on this crazy techno-thingy we call the internet. Especially from distant, far-off, crazy sandy countries like the one I’m in right now.
Seriously, I love the Riffs, love the blog, and love you guys(in the most manly and plutonic way of course). One of the few things that makes me smile out here in the war zone.
Keep it up.

Continuing the trend, please enjoy Norman Bates’ interior monologue from the end of Alfred Hitchcensored’s (sic) classic, Psycho:

Mike now look you’ve made me do:

Wesley, that may be the most disturbing thing I’ve seen in my life.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 11:25 am
I have to worry that this will usher in a new era of rickrolling. But then I worry about that sort of thing in general.

This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it.

I love how Algernon can’t help himself from getting his groove-thang goin’.
The end, where Jack suddenly turns to the camera as if noticing the viewer’s presence was a little creepy somehow.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 12:57 pm
That was scary. Then incredibly funny. Then scary again.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 2:36 pm
The sexual tension between these two are so palpable that I was nearly brought to the edge of pure pleasure. Thank Mike.
on Apr 8, 2009 at 3:45 pm
I cannot stop watching this.
on Apr 9, 2009 at 7:14 pm
It’s like Scorsese did an episode of Ally McBeal, replete with the dancing baby. Scary stuff but funnier than Scorsese.
on Apr 21, 2009 at 4:59 pm
You guys did this while I was on spring break, sans computer? ROAD HOUSE WITH LEGO PEOPLE!? It’s like the best thing that ever came out of the internet . . .
(What does that say about me as a person?)
