Horror movies were so much better back then. “Bueller’s Day” understood that it wasn’t the principal’s head coming off that was scary, it was *the lead-up* to the principal’s head coming off that freaked people out. I didn’t put a SPOILER ALERT on that, cause I figured everyone’s already seen Bueller by now.

    How very curious.

I regarded Matthew Broderick as one of the rare young thespians who never belonged to the organization known as—

Actors And Actress Inevitably, Idiotically Investigating Evil-Exuding, Emphatically Extirpative Environments.

    AAAIIIEEEEE! for short.

Have you seen the Mary Poppins Horror Movie? I’ll never eat sugar again:

This almost makes up for the atrocities user fan videos on youtube have committed over the years.

This totally made my pre-exam head-cold-suffering day. :)

Haha, that’s a good one! I’m a big fan of the re-cut trailers. I attempted one for “When Harry Met Sally” as a psychological thriller, but this one’s far better.

The bird lady always scared me, as did the head-spinning.

“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” may be the greatest movie ever made.
I just wanted to say that.

Ferris Bueller’s Day of the Dead.

    An instant classic.

    I also love Scary Mary

I’ve always wondered if anyone ever bothers to read previous comments or if I’m the only weird one.

    Can anyone hear me?!

I heard you. I commented back at you.

I usually read the replies, but not this time. I was too busy laughing my ass off at this hilarious Mary Poppins spoof I found:

(Can I use hashtags on a forum?)

Sorry, Since you called it something different than I remembered it it didn’t compute.

I’m fond of Office Space as a horror film.

My word, I actually would like to see that film, as opposed to the puling MB vehicle full of cutesy hijinks and sidereal schtick that induced vomiting within three minutes of viewing.

I hate this movie. Didn’t care for it. However if someone cared to reshoot the movie as a horror then just maybe I could stomach it.

  • 19 norgavue on May 20, 2009 at 7:36 pm

And by that I mean the movie, movie. Not the video clip movie.

And yes I’m aware I just started a sentence with and. Twice!
