It’s all connected, man!

May 20th, 2009 by Bill Corbett · 27 Comments

Photographic proof! The Powers That Be are all in cahoots, and all corrupt!

Right out of camera range: big Hollywood producers, scions of the Corn industry, and Lord Voldemort (who works part-time for Corn as well! SO CONNECTED!!).

Yes, this was obviously the robe & cape division heading out to lunch.

“Forgive me Vader for I have sinned. I have not confessed in almost two months.”

“I find your lack of faith disturbing.”

“Yeah you said that last time.”

“You don’t know the power of the dark side.”

“This is about that towel I stole at the hotel.”

“The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force.”

“Yeah uh is another priest available?”

Hmm…… does this mean that Luke was an atheist?
    Or was he aligned with……SATAN!!!!!

I knew he had an “In” somehow!

Does that mean when they blew up the other Death Star, there was a chapel inside?! With Sunday School for kids??

  • 5 Evil Ray on May 20, 2009 at 9:35 am

Well, Palpatine is the Pope, after all.

  • 6 SIRHAMHAT on May 20, 2009 at 9:51 am

I think Bill has blown this completely out of proportion. This is clearly a “Bishop Crossing” and Vader is making a few bucks as a crossing guard. The only unsolved variable in this equation is why does TMZ care?

Actually, that’s the registration line just outside the NAMBLA convention. Vader’s hoping to meet that kid who played him as a boy in the first prequel.

So… in addition to anti-matter… they can access the Dark Side of the Force?

Those of us who are Agnostics haven’t got a prayer.

The first Death Star did indeed have a chapel.

The chapel in the second one, however, was still under construction. So they conducted services in the ballet rehearsal hall.

Yeah, wait til you see the video.

  • 11 chrismartindeed on May 20, 2009 at 1:54 pm

Mr. Corbett… Mr. Corbett… is that you in the center wearing the peach cassock? (The resolution of that image is utter drek)

And how do the Five Jewish Bankers figure into all this?

  • 12 randommanthefirst on May 20, 2009 at 2:37 pm

Well, that site has finally offered me the photographic proof. There really is a small black child following me and judging all my actions.

I fear I may have to laugh at Tyler Perry sitcoms now to save myself.

So there’s good parking in purgatory, then?

  • 15 Amanda on May 20, 2009 at 5:57 pm

Bill, I would like to take a moment to let you know about a homegrown bacon event appearing in the local paper today:

  • 16 Joshua on May 20, 2009 at 6:13 pm

Hmm. San Francisco toned it down for a day.

  • 17 MonkeyCheezPants on May 20, 2009 at 6:25 pm

I thought we just made up the Five Jew Bankers?

  • 18 skullhappy on May 21, 2009 at 5:18 am

Okay, I admit it, I’m lame…what does NSFW mean?

    Not Safe For Work

  • 20 chrismartindeed on May 21, 2009 at 9:37 am

I thought the Five Jewish Bankers made us up.

  • 21 Earl Fando on May 21, 2009 at 10:10 am

Notice though that Vader is at the back of the line.

  • 22 rebisaz on May 21, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Yes, I did notice that right away, I was just lumping him in with that division of the Powers That Be (robes for the church leaders, cape for him). I just didn’t do it very well! ;-)

  • 23 Erica on May 21, 2009 at 3:54 pm

I was wondering that too but was too embarrassed to ask. Thanks, skullhappy! :)

  • 24 Earl Fando on May 25, 2009 at 7:18 pm

This does bring up an interesting cultural phenomenon in the Star Wars universe. When people in Star Wars ask something obvious, another character invariably responds, “Does Lord Vader have a funny hat?”

  • 25 Earl Fando on May 25, 2009 at 7:21 pm

Yeah, but what does “Not Safe for Work” mean? Will it blow up or something.

Oh, content… but what if, heaven-forbid, someone works in a brothel? Do they append OKFWBNATH (OK for Work but Not Around the House)?

  • 26 Mark D on Aug 23, 2010 at 1:41 pm

Lucas called………..He’s pissed, and plans on suing the Catholic Church.
